Medical equipment is a field where single-use items sit alongside machines that stay in service for thirty years. We treat the environmental and social responsibilities of each separately.
Material issues

Climate
Halving Scope 1 and 2 CO₂ against 2020 by 2035. Domestic purchased electricity moved to renewables in 2024.

Product life
Ten years of parts after production ends, and structures designed to be repaired, as standard.

Access to care
Simplified monitors and pumps that can be serviced in low-resource settings, supplied to public hospitals across Asia.

Worker safety
Building our own containment equipment, with the goal of zero operator exposure in powder handling processes.

Social
- An agreement with local technical high schools brings twelve trainees a year.
- Suppliers complete an annual survey on human rights and working conditions.
- After a disaster we lend sterilizers and infusion pumps to affected hospitals at no charge.
