Who we are
ASAHIŌE MEDICAL PRODUCTS makes the equipment used inside hospitals, and the equipment used to manufacture medicines. We started in 1954 as a small machine shop in Yao, Osaka. Design and production are still centred in Japan.
The product range is wide, but every item has one thing in common. It is used where a stoppage matters. If an infusion pump stops, a treatment stops. If a sterilizer stops, an operating schedule moves. So we design for reliability and for ease of repair before we design for performance.
Consolidated net sales for the year ended March 2026 were 5.69 billion yen, with 1,240 employees. We operate three plants in Japan, have affiliates in Vietnam and Singapore, and supply forty countries and regions.
Message from the Representative Officer
Our work is not meant to be noticed. The surgical light in the ceiling and the infusion pump beside the bed are invisible as long as they are working properly. We think that is the correct outcome.
What we have built over seventy years is less a body of technology than a record of decisions. Which parts to duplicate, where to stop and inspect, which fault to send back to design. The quality of those decisions becomes the quality of the product.

Our principles
- Put continuity of operation first.
- Build things that can be repaired, and keep supplying the parts and drawings.
- Check on site first, then take it back into the design.
- Do not hide numbers, whether they are defects or costs.
